Lopez is one amazing woman! Despite being a mother of twins, singer, actress and now a television personality (American Idol), she still finds time to keep an amazing physique. What is the most refreshing aspect to her approach though, is not that she spends countless hours or days in the gym working out!

Cardio: Jennifer incorporates multiple styles of cardio into her workout routines including bicycling, dancing, treadmill and circuit training.

Resistance Training: As long as it's done correctly, resistance training will play a vital part in sculpting the type of body that you will love! Whether using weights, body weight or resistance bands, this is the key to creating lean, muscle mass which helps burn body fat and make you appear to be in shape.

Jennifer Lopez Diet

Very quickly after Lopez had her twins she was able to get back to the body she was used to! Even at 40 years of age, Jlo is looking amazing. One aspect to Lopez's great physique is that she doesn't overdue it and she still looks like a woman.

As with her workout routine, Lopez aims to be balanced and real about her diet as well.

"I try to watch what I eat. I know what's good for me, and I know what's bad for me, and I try to stay away from the bad things, but like anybody I indulge once in a while. If I'm trying to lose weight, I just cut carbohydrates from my diet." says Lopez.

She as even admitted to stopping by McDonald's on occasion.

An important thing to remember about diet is that it's not as much of your calorie intake on a daily basis that matters as much as your total calories taken in for the week. There have been numerous studies that have shown a reasonable approach to diet usually pays off in the long run, versus crash dieting and "fad diets."
